Big News from Silk Barbershop: We're Moving to Carnegie & Bringing Quality Barber Haircuts with Us!

What's up, everyone? Jaymz here from Silk Barbershop, your trusted barber destination since 2016. This barber and shop had humble beginnings in my lounge room in Caulfield South, then moved with me to St Kilda East, then Malvern... only for 2020 lockdowns to force the business to close 😰... until I found a new barber shop space in Bentleigh East. Shout out to my clients who have followed me all the way! I appreciate you all.

I'm coming at you today with some exciting news – Silk Barbershop is on the move. AGAIN, I know! We're getting a brand new location in Carnegie, and I can't wait to bring FIVE-STAR haircuts (rated on Google 😎), beard trims, and exceptional service to a whole new community.

Now, you may have seen a recent video where I got stuck in traffic. Don't worry, it wasn't that kind of 'stuck' - just roadworks slowing me down that day. But life is full of roadworks, isn't it? With ever traffic jam, it gives us time to sit back and reflect. I've been thinking hard about the future of Silk Barbershop. Barbering is my passion and my calling, and I just can't stop trying! I have to take this business to the next level for my clients and the community, and of course, for my young family.

I'm currently in the second stage of securing a new space in Carnegie. Finding the perfect barbershop location is like finding that perfect haircut – you gotta consider all the details. Great lighting is super important for me. In the new shop, I want to make sure I've got a bright, welcoming space for both you and the barbers (BY THE WAY, I'm looking for barbers to grow with me at the shop - tell a friend). No more shadowy corners means higher quality haircuts.

I'm also ironing out details on eye-catching signage and getting a contractor involved to make sure the space is exactly what barbers will need to deliver the best possible barbering experience in Carnegie. It's all a work in progress, but I believe we'll get there.
